Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Director of Europe to lead and develop operations across a growing pan-European residential property management platform, operating within the PBSA, Build-to-Rent (BTR), Flex-Living and wider residential sectors.

This senior leadership position combines responsibility for day-to-day operations with developing and delivering long-term business strategy across multiple European markets.

The successful candidate will be a commercially focused, hands-on leader capable of building teams, establishing processes, driving operational performance and supporting continued business expansion.

This is a key appointment requiring someone who is comfortable taking ownership, overcoming challenges and acting as the figurehead for a growing European operation.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee day-to-day operations across multiple European markets.
• Develop and implement operational and commercial strategies to support long-term growth.
• Build, manage and develop high-performing teams across different countries.
• Drive operational excellence, efficiency and consistency across the portfolio.
• Oversee revenue management, leasing performance, budgeting and financial results.
• Establish effective processes, systems and operational frameworks.
• Manage senior client relationships and key stakeholders.
• Support the mobilisation of new properties and expansion into additional markets.
• Ensure compliance with operational, regulatory and health and safety requirements.
• Take a proactive, hands-on approach to operational challenges and business development.

Skills & Experience

• Significant senior leadership experience within PBSA, BTR, hospitality, property management or a similar operational environment.
• Proven experience managing multi-site operations across multiple European countries.
• Fluent English and Spanish essential.
• Strong commercial and financial management experience.
• Demonstrable success in building and developing operational teams.
• Experience developing business strategy whilst remaining actively involved in day-to-day operations.
• Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable operating within a growing business and implementing change.
• Strong understanding of European markets and operational requirements.
• Additional European languages, particularly Italian or German, would be advantageous.
